"First impression: decent, but a bit slow"
My first impression was that the progress tracking does what it’s supposed to do, which is nice. After using it a bit, though, the updates feel kind of slow, so it’s not as smooth as I expected. It works overall, just feels a little behind at times

"Meal planning is still kind of a hassle"
I guess it helped a little, but planning meals was still annoying. The recipes weren’t that easy to work into my week, and I’m not totally sure they were all that useful for me.

"Good app, but a little inconsistent"
I was in a patient mood when I started using it, so the occasional hiccups didn’t bother me too much at first. Overall, I do like the app and use it regularly, but it can be a bit flaky. It crashes every now and then, and syncing sometimes takes longer than I’d expect. It’s not a bad app by any means, it just needs some more reliable updates.

"I used iTrackBites for a few months..."
I used iTrackBites for a few months and I really did try to stick with it, I logged my meals most days and stayed within my points and kept thinking maybe it just needed more time but the scale basically didn’t move at all.
It might be helpful for other people and maybe I was just not the right fit for it, but for me it ended up feeling like a ton of tracking and checking numbers for no actual progress, so I got frustrated and finally canceled.

"I’ve been trying to use the..."
I’ve been trying to use the app on both my phone and tablet, but my food logs keep failing to sync between the two. This is where it got annoying: I ended up losing an entire day of tracking twice. It’s frustrating when you’re trying to stay consistent, and it’s starting to feel like more hassle than it’s worth.

"The nutrition info just didn’t feel right"
I used it to track my meals for about a week, and the calories and points seemed kind of all over the place. Like, I’d enter the same foods and somehow get different numbers, or at least that’s how it felt. After a few days I just stopped trusting it. If you really need accurate tracking, this probably isn’t the one.

"Food database is a bit all over the place"
I’ve been using it for a while and the food database is definitely hit or miss. Some things pop up perfectly, like common snacks, basic fruits, chicken breast, yogurt, or a regular coffee, but then other stuff is missing or has weird info, like random restaurant meals, certain protein bars, homemade soups, sauces, frozen dinners, or even different brands of the same cereal. Sometimes I’ll search for something simple and get five versions with totally different calories, which gets annoying. It’s still usable and works fine for basic tracking, but I end up double-checking entries a lot.

"Community support was kinda lacking"
The community support felt weak. I asked for help and it took ages to get any replies, which was kinda frustrating when I was just trying to figure things out.

"I really wanted this app to work..."
I really wanted this app to work, but it’s frustrating. It’s hard to figure out, freezes way too often, and at some point it just feels unfair to users to put out something this clunky.

"Helpful idea, but the points don’t always feel fair"
I do like the bite points system because it makes tracking what I eat feel simple. That said, some foods in the database seem off, and the app can be a little clunky at times. I’m not trying to be harsh, because the idea is genuinely helpful and it does keep me more aware of my choices. I just think it would be decent to make the points and food info more accurate so people can trust what they’re tracking.
"Support just never really got back to me"
So, I tried using itrackbites and, i ran into an issue with my account early on. I figured it would be a simple thing to sort out, so I reached out to customer support and just kind of expected someone to help me get it fixed.
But, yeah, it took way too long to hear anything back, and when I finally did get a response, it didn’t really answer my question. I replied again to try to explain what was going on, and then, basically, nothing really happened after that.
I get that companies are busy and all that, but waiting around with no clear answer is just really frustrating. I wanted to like the app, but the support experience was not great for me.

"Better than I expected for the price"
I’ve been using itrackbites for a few months now, i went in with modest expectations because the subscription is cheaper than a lot of similar apps. It’s not perfect, and there are moments where the app feels a little clunky, but it does the main tracking stuff I need without making me feel like I’m overpaying. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, so for what it costs, I’m happy with it overall.

"couldn't customize my plan enough"
the plans felt set in stone for me. i was hoping to tweak things more around my actual goals, but there just wasn’t much flexibility

"Pretty easy, but also kind of confusing"
Signing up was actually simple enough, so I felt good at first. Then I got into setting up the plan and, it started asking way more questions than I expected. It wasn't terrible or anything, and I did figure it out after clicking around for a while, but the points and food tracking parts were a little confusing at first. So far I think it's fine, maybe even helpful, but the beginning could definitely be a lot clearer for people who are brand new like me

"Barcode scanner made me lose trust after paying"
I really wanted to like iTrackBites, especially after I paid for it, but the barcode scanner has been frustrating. Sometimes it just won’t scan at all, and other times it brings up the wrong food, so I end up having to type everything in manually. At that point it kind of feels like, why did I pay for this if one of the main features doesn’t work right? The rest of the app is okay, but the scanner definitely needs work.

"I canceled my iTrackBites subscription because I just..."
I canceled my iTrackBites subscription because I just wasn’t using it anymore. I had started out with good intentions, like I usually do with apps like this, but after a while it was just sitting on my phone taking up space. So I canceled it, or at least I thought I did, and then the next month I still got billed.
Trying to figure out how to actually stop the subscription was more annoying than it needed to be. The cancellation page wasn’t very clear to me, and I kept second-guessing whether I had missed a button or confirmation somewhere. I even checked my email a few times while making coffee one morning, thinking maybe there was a receipt or some cancel notice hiding in there, but nothing really helped. Support eventually responded, but it took longer than I would have liked.
I did finally get it sorted out, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I really don’t like having to chase down a company over a charge I already thought was canceled. Maybe other people have had better luck, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t sign up again.

"I don’t know why it keeps crashing"
I don’t know why, but the app just keeps crashing every time I try to use it on my old Android phone. Maybe my phone isn’t supported anymore, but either way I can’t really get it to work.

"I gave iTrackBites a try after being..."
I gave iTrackBites a try after being on Weight Watchers for a while, mostly because it was cheaper and I figured, why not? The points system felt familiar enough, which I liked, and it’s nice not paying as much. So yeah, in that way it’s kind of awesome.
But then using the app day to day was a little annoying. Some foods were weirdly hard to find, and tracking felt clunky at times, which made me want to give up and also somehow keep using it because it still works fine. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, it does the job, just don’t expect it to feel as polished as WW.

"Pretty useful, but yeah… feels a bit limited"
I’ve been using it here and there to track bites and meals, it does what it’s supposed to do. Like, it works fine. But I guess I expected a little more from the free version? Some features feel kind of limited, or just not available unless you upgrade, which was a little disappointing. It’s not a bad app at all, just maybe a bit basic unless you’re paying. I still keep it around and use it sometimes, just not really every day.

"Keeps me on track most of the time"
I’d say this helps me stay on track about 70% of the time. It’s good for accountability, especially when I’m trying to build a routine. The motivation still comes and goes, maybe every few days, but having something to check in with does make a difference.
